Mineral concentrate -- halite consists of a technical sodium chloride with the impurities of other chemical substances in the limited amount, it is well soluble in water and hygroscopic. The sodium chloride of the grade "C" is caked and it freezes at low temperatures. The dust-free sodium chloride of the A and B grades is obtained as a by-product while exploring and mining the potassium and common salt. Sodium chloride of the grade C is obtained when processing the sylvinite ore which contains a potassium and a sodium.
