The main goal of the JSC Belaruskali in the field of quality and the basis for the financial well-being of the Company and its employees is to create high-quality, competitive products that meet the requirements and expectations of consumers. This goal is set forth in the JSC Belaruskali Quality Policy, which defines the basic principles of the Company's quality activities.
Here, the issues of the company management prevail, as effective management determines the mobility and flexibility of the Company in realising its objectives in all fields of activity.
To ensure constant guarantee of stable quality at all stages of the product life cycle, JSC Belaruskali has introduced a Quality Management System developed in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001 and implementing the principles of general quality management.
In 1999, JSC Belaruskali was one of the first companies in the Republic of Belarus to receive the Certificate of Conformity of potassium chloride production with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001.
In 2009, the certification scope for the Quality Management System was extended to the production of technical sodium chloride, rock salt, edible and feed salt, in 2016 - to the production of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, in 2017 - to the production of potassium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite and hydrochloric acid, in 2023 the application scope of the Quality Management System included Petrikov Production Unit.
Currently, the functioning of the Quality Management System is confirmed by Certificates of Conformity issued by the National Certification Body Republican Unitary Company “Slutsk Centre for Standardisation, Metrology and Certification”
To confirm the compliance of the quality and safety characteristics of the JSC Belaruskali products, the Company carries out certification, declaration of compliance and state registration. All types of mineral fertilizers, fodder salt and edible salt have registered declarations of conformity to the mandatory requirements of technical regulations of the Republic of Belarus or the Eurasian Economic Union.
JSC Belaruskali products are also certified on a voluntary basis in the National Certification System of the Republic of Belarus, the National Certification System of Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. To obtain permission for use in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Europe and other countries, the products produced by the JSC Belaruskali underwent the state registration in accordance with the current national legislation of these countries.
Since 2014, in order to expand product markets and make unhindered deliveries of fertilizers to the markets of New Zealand and Australia, JSC Belaruskali has implemented a biological safety system for potassium chloride to minimise the risks of biological contamination of exported products at all stages of their life cycle, from its production processes to transportation and storage at the port, loading and transportation by vessels. Based on the results of the audits conducted in August 2014 by the accredited inspection company Hunter Quality Solution PTY Ltd. and in February 2017 by the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, JSC Belaruskali was issued Certificates of Conformity “LEVEL 1”.
The stable operation of the Company, the high quality of its products, and the fulfilment of customer requirements confirm the JSC Belaruskali positive image in the global mineral fertilizer market.
